Project to increase the income of the population of Zhambyl region
JSC “SEBC “Taraz” is the Authorised agent for budgetary lending to agro-industrial enterprises under the Zhambyl region income growth project within the framework of the State program of productive employment and mass entrepreneurship for 2017 – 2021 “Yenbek” (hereinafter – the “Еңбек” program).
JSC “SEBC “Taraz” fully disbursed the allocated funds in the amount of 7,200,000,000 (seven billion two hundred million) tenge by granting loans to the final borrowers.
Implementation of the Pilot Project in 5 areas:
- 1 direction - the use of homestead plots for crop production.
- 2 direction - the use of homestead yards for livestock and poultry production.
- 3 direction - use of land resources outside settlements.
- 4 direction - establishment and staffing of cooperatives.
- 5 direction - financing small businesses in rural areas.
Total number of loans disbursed - 2,489
The conditions for obtaining a preferential loan:
1) the term of the loan/microcredit is up to 5 years, the term of the loan/microcredit for livestock farming projects and the establishment of agricultural cooperatives is up to 7 years;
2) the maximum amount of the loan/microcredit is determined in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
3) a nominal interest rate of not more than 2.5% per annum;
